Reception Teacher, Doncaster

A Primary School in a small village in Doncaster are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Reception Teacher, on a full -time basis, to start in September 2022. Based at an Ofsted "Good" rated Primary school with a strong sense of community with supportive staff and what will be a lovely class of inquisitive children. This school provides a challenging and varied curriculum with a view to developing students to be confident, independent learners with strong academic and social skills. This role is suitable for both Early Career Teachers (ECT's) and more experienced Teachers with an in depth understanding of the demands of the Early Years curriculum and preparing for the transition into KS1.

  • Contract type - Long Term Fixed Contract, Full time
  • Hours - Full time (8am-4pm)
  • Salary: £120-£180 per day

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Delivering lessons focusing on letters and sounds, spelling, phonics, and reading and writing
  • Implementing the curriculum with various learning strategies, allowing children to use their creativity and imagination
  • Building and maintaining relationships with parents to encourage further learning and development at home
  • Observing, assessing, and recording each child's progress to ensure that they are making continuous improvement
  • Attend staff meetings and training days

EXPERIENCE, TRIANING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • QTS, PGCE or equivalent
  • Previous experience teaching Reception or Early Years, specifically in a UK school would be advantageous.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
  • Up to date Safeguarding knowledge and training
