Day Rate: 105- 115 per day
Contract: Long-term to permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Start Date: September 2025

Are you looking for a full-time role as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant in a dynamic primary school setting?

About the Role

Long Term Futures are working in partnership with an Ofsted-rated "Good" school in Derby to recruit a qualified and confident Level 3 Teaching Assistant. This role involves supporting class teachers with lesson preparation, classroom management, and pupil progress tracking. You will also provide focused support to pupils on a one-to-one or small group basis to help them reach their learning goals. This is a long-term position with the opportunity to secure a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support class teachers in planning lessons and preparing learning resources.
  • Monitor and track the academic and personal development of pupils.
  • Deliver tailored support to individual pupils or small groups.
  • Create an inclusive and engaging classroom environment.

What We're Looking For

  • A CACHE Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching & Learning or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working within a primary school
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with teaching staff.
  • A genuine passion for helping young learners thrive academically and emotionally.
