Job Description

 Anglesey Primary Academy, based in Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire, opened December 2012 and is sponsored by Academies Enterprise Trust (AET). The Academy is a 3 form entry Primary Academy with 601 pupils and currently 4 forms in year 6. Approximately 72% of children are bilingual or multilingual and there are 24 different languages spoken within the Academy. The Academy is forward thinking with dedicated, hardworking staff who are committed to serving a culturally and linguistically diverse community.

Excellent teacher needed. We provide outstanding professional development for staff including working with national trainers for Maths and English (including Pie Corbett) as well as opportunities to work alongside our family of schools in Birmingham.

We need a great teacher who is open to working with us during a time of high scrutiny, fast change and rapid progress. You need to be resilient, flexible and determined. We are approaching our final monitoring visit this term that will see the school removed from Special Measures and our plan is to be a good school.

The position is required to commence January 2016 and is fixed term until the Wednesday 31 August 2016. Interviews are scheduled to take place week commencing Monday 19 October 2015.
