Geography teacher for an exceptional school based in West London. This post is to start in September/October and can be offered on a full time or part time basis. They are looking for a teacher to teach across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. The school has a fantastic Humanities faculty the school has the capacity of a position of responsibility for a suitably qualified applicant, and Geography is a popular option at A Level with in the school. The school is looking to meet teachers at the end of the summer break or the first week back in September. For the right teacher this will turn into a permanent position.
The school is based in a lovely area in West London and the school was rated as "Outstanding" by OFSTED in its last inspection. The school was formally a Grammar School and its fantastic standards have been maintained. Following changes in legislation the school became a Foundation School in 1998. The school held Beacon School status from July 2000 until it became a Leading Edge school in July 2003. It won the School Achievement Award for Excellence for each of the three years it ran. Their Head teacher was knighted in the Queen's birthday Honours for services to education.
