SEN Teaching Assistant required in SEN School

Location: Birmingham

Duration: Full time, on going

Salary: £55-70

The School:

The school is an SEN provision for excluded pupils aged 11-19 with a range of SEMH issues. This is a challenging setting where you will need a strong ability to control and promote strong good behaviour. The school is located near to public transport routes.

The role:

They are seeking a strong Teaching Assistant who is qualified ideally to level 3 with a strong background in SEN work. Ideally you will have been working in an SEN school most recently and must be familiar with behavioural needs and settings. This role will be working with very small groups assisting the class teacher to ensure behaviour standards are met and controlled.

This role has the potential to go permanent.


Level 3 TA qualification or equivalent
