Beacon Academy in Loughborough is a positive, nurturing and inspiring learning environment that provides a happy, caring community where everyone is encouraged and supported to achieve their goals. “Our children are keen to learn, are well behaved and want to achieve their best.”

“You have kept the interests of pupils at the heart of everything you do.” Ofsted Section 8, September 2016

We are a popular school in our community and within commutable distance of Derby, Nottingham, and Leicester and close to the M1 and M42 motorways. Our ever-improving school is on the journey to good, and we have a great team of teachers and staff who are all dedicated to getting there quickly.

As we look to strengthen our teaching team and move our Academy forward, we are looking to appoint a highly motivated Class Teacher to join either our EYFS or KS1 team. Whether you are an NQT looking for a supportive department to begin your career, or an experienced teacher looking to develop further in teaching, Beacon Academy is the place for you.

Are you highly motivated and determined to make a real difference to the lives of children, regardless of their starting point?

Are you committed to raising standards with a drive for outstanding pupil attainment and progress?

Are you keen to support the learning of children with special needs?

Are you creative, fun-loving and experimental, ready to engage children across the entire curriculum?

If you have just thought ‘yes that’s me’, you could be the person we’re looking for to join our fabulous team.

If so, we can offer you:

  • Enthusiastic, friendly, well behaved children
  • A supportive, friendly and committed staff team and governors
  • A bespoke CPD programme
  • A creative and innovative environment

Visits to the Academy are strongly recommended: Please contact Mrs Bussell, Headteacher on 01509 212227.
