Job Description

Title: Early Years (EYFS) Level 3 Teaching Assistant needed for a Bristol Primary School Introduction: Monarch Education are currently working with a welcoming Primary School in the Bedminster area of Bristol. The Head Teacher is currently looking to recruit an additional Early Years Teaching Assistant to work within the school's EYFS Provision in a full time role. The candidate must have experience of working within an Early Years school based setting; ready to support pupils as they begin their journey in Education. The role requires the candidate to be based in the Nursery class of the school; you will be confident supporting pupils 1:1 and larger group settings. Confidence and experience working to the EYFS revised framework is essential for this position; you will have the necessary skills to help guide the children towards a successful transition in to the school and though the EYFS. You will assist the Teacher in providing an exciting learning experience through creative continuous provision; with a strong knowledge of the development areas in the framework. As your role will require you to lead small group phonics sessions; an experience and training in Read Write Inc/ Sounds Right phonics would be of benefit but is not essential as training can be provided. It is key that you hold a Level 3 qualification in supporting pupils / Early Years. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a forward thinking Primary School in Bedminster.
