Position: Support Staff
Capita Education (CER) is looking to recruit a supportive and dedicated teaching assistant to support within a good school in the East Birmingham area. This role will be to support within Early Years on a full time basis to start after October half term until Easter 2017.
It is essential that you have previous experience of working in Early Years and have a passion for EYFS. You must be able to use strategies in liaison with the teacher to support pupils to achieve their Early Learning Goals. You will be assisting with the planning of learning activities and enhancing children's outdoor learning.
You will constantly monitor pupils' responses to learning activities and accurately record achievement/progress as directed. It is important to establish constructive relationships with parents/carers and keep them up to date with their child's progress.
It would be preferred, but not essential, that you have experience of with children with SEN and/or Speech and Language delay.
Successful primary teaching assistants must be:
*Experienced in working within an Early Years setting
*Be able to commit to up to five days per week on a long-term basis
*Qualified with a minimum of a level three childcare qualification
*Able to support the teacher in implementing school learning policies
