Position: Teaching Assistant
Strong and confident Support Workers/Learning Support Assistants needed in South West London ASAP
Our Pupil Referral Units (PRU) that provides a transitional education and support students who are unable to attend Mainstream school settings are seeking experience learning support assistants/behavioural support assistants. We are looking for strong and vigilant learning support assistants who have a wealth of experience supporting children and young adults with Social, Emotional and Behavioural difficulties who has experience of working in a similar setting or that has a strong SEN or EBD background. You must be a dedicated and passionate individual who can build on strong working relationships with individual pupils and support their development in their education.
You will need to be a great supporting role model to help support their learning and development and life skills so that they reach to the best of their potential. You will support the teacher with interventions and behaviour management as well as collaborating with the Senior Management, families and external agencies.
To be suitable for this role, you will have:
*Fantastic experience supporting children with Social, Emotional and Behavioural difficulties
*At least 1 year's experience working in an SEN setting or supporting a child with SEN
*A good understanding of SEBD
*Confident with challenging behaviour
*Team Teach trained
