Versatile, inspiring and raring to go? If so, then Capita Education has the perfect role for you! We are looking for a teacher of SEN in the Durham area. The role itself we have available requires a candidate to have prior SEN experience. Specifically, the role entails working with pupils who suffer socially and emotionally all the way to pupils who have behavioural issues. Despite the challenges, if you're driven to make a change to children's lives then this role would be absolutely perfect for you! A successful candidate would be expected to be ready to go from the start of the new school year.
As special educational needs (SEN) teacher you will be specifically employed to work with children who need extra support, or require an advanced programme of education, in order to complete their learning successfully. For example, you may work with individuals who are physically disabled, sensory impaired (i.e. deaf/blind), have speech and language difficulties such as dyslexia, have a mental disability such as autism, are emotionally vulnerable, have behavioural difficulties or have a combination of these disabilities
A key aspect of working in this field is identifying individual needs and being responsible for creating a safe, stimulating and supportive learning environment.
We would like to hear from you if:
* You are passionate about your subject
* you are flexible, adaptable and have what it takes to succeed in a UK school
* you are looking for a position in a school that is best suited to your needs
* Great daily rates of pay
* a designated consultant
* CPD Online training courses
You must have SEN Teaching experience and QTS, have full teaching references and a valid DBS.
This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate who must be flexible, willing to travel, and be a confident practitioner.
