My client is an 'Outstanding' School for children with profound, severe and complex learning difficulties. They are looking for two experienced SEN Teachers to join them from January 2017.
The school offers state of the art facilities including beautiful outdoor learning environments, an on-site hydrotherapy pool, a sensory learning space and a flourishing arts department. Class sizes vary from 4-8 students per class and teachers would be supported by at least one support assistant.
This position would suit experienced SEN teachers, or those looking to move from mainstream settings to work with pupils with SEN (specialist SEN training and support will be provided). NQTs may apply. Experience in special needs is not essential as training is provided.
You will be expected to contribute to the extended curriculum of this vibrant, well-resourced school. The ability to form relationships with young people and a flexible approach to working with others are important.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to respect this commitment. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check. . In addition to this, references will be sought for successful candidates.
