Teaching Assistants required for work in Durham Do you have a passion for helping young learners? Are you looking to inspire and create exciting learning environments for vulnerable young people? The schools in this area cover a range of additional needs from PRU, autism units and those schools with more profound physical and mental learning difficulties. The roles in this area will be covering sickness, maternity or simply the need for additional staff based on the needs of the school and the children they support. This could range from short term to long term work. The learners in these schools have a range of issues that can span from EBD to ADHD. These difficulties can manifest into extreme behaviours, so strong behaviour management and innovative techniques are a must! Team teach qualifications are a bonus but not essential.
