Are you an experienced Humanities Teacher looking for a new long-term role this September?
A position has opened in an amazing Secondary School in the Newcastle area due to a staff absence. This contract is to start the new academic year 2016 and has the potential to extend through to the summer 2017.
The successful teacher will be joining a school with excellent academic results and a very broad range of extra-curricular activities.
Having worked with the school previously this is an excellent school to challenge yourself and progress further with your career.
The school is situated in the ideal location for both driver's and for public transport use.
To be considered for this position of Teacher of Humanities you must:
*Have taught key stage 3, 4 and 5 Geography and History, General Studies will be advantageous
*Hold Qualified Teacher status (QTS) or be a newly qualified teacher (NQT)
*Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
*Manage pupils coursework and exam progress building up to their Alevels
*Plan and deliver inspiring lessons to all year groups 7 - 13
