Are you a qualified welding lecturer looking for a new challenge in the West Midlands area?
We currently work closely with colleges throughout the West Midlands including areas such as Birmingham, Telford and Coventry and it may be that we will have opportunities for welding lecturers to cover our college's short term / long term needs in the new academic year
If you're an individual who is committed to teaching and sharing your expertise with young people we are keen to talk to you. Opportunities we anticipate arising to start September 2016 may be part or full time, mid or long term temporary assignments but you can be assured we will do our best to secure the right position for you.
This will give you the opportunity to help students investigate and understand some of the fundamental laws of the universe. This will include particles of matter, vast star systems, equations and formulae, problem-solving, experimenting and using technology and learn about many real-life applications of physical ideas gravitational, electrical and magnetic forces, radioactivity and oscillations.
Ideally you will have knowledge of topics such as mechanics, subatomic particles, electricity and theory of waves, you will also need to have good practical skills and the role may involve supervising and demonstrating experiments.

Ideally you will have:
*- A recognised teaching qualification e.g. DTLLS, PCET or QCF level 5 Diploma in Education
*A relevant degree/Level 4 qualification in motor vehicle
*GCSEs in English and Maths or level 2 equivalent.
*Recent experience teaching welding in the Education Sector.
*Excellent subject knowledge.
*A proven track record of consistently good/outstanding teaching.
*The ability to engage different learners through a range of teaching resources.
*A valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
*Health and Safety in the classroom/lab.
