A leading Independent Prep School within Surrey are looking for a Head of Nursery to coordinate their thriving Nursery provision. This is a full time and permanent post which is commutable from South London and most parts of Surrey.

The school places each child at the centre of everything they do, managing the educational process at the individual child level. Staff recognise the aspirations of each child and understand their personal learning style and consequently personalise the education and learning accordingly. The Early Years facility within the prep school is no different and promotes learning activities both in and outside the classroom setting and pupils are given free access to resources. They are strongly encouraged to learn through their own experiences and individual interests.
This independent prep school are looking to appoint a Head of Nursery to coordinate its thriving Nursery classes and the successful candidate will have experience of teaching EYFS and pupils aged 2 - 4. The successful candidate will also have a very strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum including current legislation and ideally have experience of leading a team.
You will be expected to have a minimum of NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) and/or ideally QTS. The SMT are strong believers of providing professional development to all their staff as everyone is continually on their own learning journey and the holder of this post will have access to training and courses.
