For this role you will need -
* Previous experience working with children and /or young adults with challenging behavior.
* Able to travel to Bristol, preferably with own transport.
* A full, enhanced DBS is required which Capita can fully assist with.
Capita Education's SEN team works with numerous SEN schools across Bristol and the South-West, including those dedicated to SEMH (behavioural difficulties) pupils. The small classes need several support staff to work with the pupils and give them dedicated time throughout lessons. The ideal candidate would have previous experience working with children or young adults with SEMH, and be comfortable handling their challenging behavior, and be keen to work with SEN pupils, particularly those with Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties.
They would also have the benefit of additional training to support their work such as 'Team Teach' which Capita provides on a termly basis.
Previous experience working in a school or care environment is essential, as is a full enhanced DBS preferably on the update service. Capita Education can fully assist with this process should you need a DBS.
