Our school was opened in September 2005 after the two schools on the site Osbaston Infant School and Osbaston Junior School were closed at the end of the summer term in July 2005. We have a brand new green uniform a number of new teachers especially in Year 4-6. Although the buildings are exactly the same, we are now one big, new school and we do a lot of work together. It is now very common to see children in Reception working and playing with children in Year 6. In the summer a brand new path was built along the edge of our field to link the two buildings. We use it every day.
The primary years of schooling are arguably the most important in your child’s education. As well as laying the foundations for lifelong learning, they are also a time when attitudes affecting the whole of later life are formed.
At OsbastonChurch in WalesSchool we aim to provide an environment where positive attitudes are fostered, where your child feels confident and secure, and where independence, self-discipline and respect for others can develop alongside a balanced range of exciting learning opportunities.
Education is a partnership between teachers and parents. We believe that your child’s success is a joint responsibility and we hope that you will share with us in making these years a successful period in your child's life.
We operate an ‘open-door’ policy and my staff and I are always available to discuss any aspect of your child's education.
