NOCN is a leading credit-based awarding organisation that has been creating opportunities for students and learners for over 25 years. We’re trusted and recognised by learners, educational organisations and employers.
NOCN has offices in the UK and India, around 2,000 centres nationally offering our qualifications. Our qualifications range from Entry Level, right the way through to Level 4, and include skills for life such as Functional Skills. We offer almost 400 different qualifications.
Set up in 1987, with the support of NIACE, NOCN developed the regionally based small number of Open College Federations and access organisations into a single Open College Network (OCN) with a new and consistent structure to the qualifications.
We create and develop quality, flexible qualifications for organisations that offer education and training to their students, members or staff.
Recognised by the Qualifications Regulators in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, we also have partnerships in Scandinavia, offices and centres in India. We’re extending our international offers further to include Cyprus, Greece, Albania, Bulgaria, Turkey and Ukraine as well as developing opportunities in the Middle East, Mauritius and South Africa.
