Our Mission Statement

Feversham Primary Academy opened in November 2012 as part of the Academies Enterprise Trust. Working closely with the AET, we are committed to giving all our pupils the best chances for success in life.

Aims and Vision

We aim to provide the opportunity for all learners to fulfil their real potential, broaden their horizons and become active, prosperous and successful citizens in the world around them. We believe that all pupils deserve to become world class learners - to learn, enjoy, succeed and thrive in a first rate educational environment, with the best facilities, the best teaching and the most up to date resources available to them. We are committed to doing everything we can to ensure that young people are able to, in the future, compete on the world stage with the skills, confidence and flair to generate new ideas, new initiatives and thereby make a full contribution to tomorrow's world.

We will achieve this by:

  • Being an inclusive academy which provides equality of opportunity for all learners, with high quality teaching and learning to meet individual needs, and promoting a culture of high expectations.
  • Providing well for learners’ care, health and safety and to meet their physical, mental, social, spiritual, moral and cultural needs.
  • Ensuring a rich, broad, balanced curriculum presented in an interesting, exciting and imaginative manner, with practical work, investigation and learning through play.
  • Integrating creative activities such as art, music, dance, drama, poetry and to enrich the curriculum by visits, visitors and use of the environment.
  • Incorporating basic skills and ICT across the curriculum making links between subjects and encouraging learners to develop their self-confidence by contributing to the community.
  • Involving families and the wider community in the children’s learning and in the life of the school, including partner schools in BD34ALL and local organisations and businesses.

Aspiration

Every pupil at the Academy is encouraged, and supported, to set their sights high and broaden their ambitions, irrespective of their background or their individual circumstances. Our curriculum and enhancements aim to foster this process through a diverse range of events, visits, visitors and use of the local environment.
