The best schools are communities that support each other like extended families. Everyone involved in the education of our young people has a vital role to play. The closer we all work together as adults then the more successfully we can ensure that your young people achieve their potential. This is the core of the vision that we have at Brentwood County High School.
Our school is the centre of our local community. We are proud that our community is a diverse place both within and beyond our school. We see promoting diversity and valuing the contributions of all as being at the core of our mission. Everything that we do is done to ensure that our young people can exist in safe environment in which they can succeed whilst feeling supported, challenged and protected.

I look forward to meeting everyone who comes to visit our school and who chooses to become part of our vibrant community. I believe that our school is a very special place and that our young people are being educated in an environment which supports, nurtures and extends their personal abilities. I know I am privileged to be working with our current families, and look forward to working with new families all the time.
The core purpose of our school is to ensure that we enable every young person to achieve their identified potential, and then more. As a school we aim to be Exceptional which we define as being beyond Outstanding as an Ofsted definition.
Potential is a multi-faceted and often hidden thing, and in recognising this we express our belief in the inherent ability of every young person to do better than they have previously, to do better than they believe, to do better than others believe, and to simply achieve whatever their talents, hidden or otherwise, equips them to do. In order to achieve this we must ensure that we remain reflective, creative and open to change at all times. We also aim to place engagement with our community at the heart of all that we do so as to respond to the needs and aspirations of all our stakeholders.
We define our vision in our values and where they can take us. Our values poster, developed by all stakeholders is displayed around our school and used in public documents. The phrases and words define how we believe our young people, staff, parents, governors and community should act in order to fulfil our vision for our young people.
We are Brentwood County High School, the school of choice for the families of Brentwood and beyond. We are at the heart of our community, facilitating the improvement of lives for young people who both attend our school and who do not. We are a school who maximises successes and who believes in the limitless potential of all who come into contact with us.
