Our Mission Statement

In order for us to be able to assist you in finding work as a teacher in the UK you will need to hold a UK recognised teaching qualification and the right to work here. You will also need to able to meet our stringent safeguarding requirements – see KEY POLICIES. A large proportion of our teaching jobs are in special schools, units and alternative provisions, but we also have teaching positions working with small groups of pupils with more moderate types of special needs in mainstream settings. Our clients provide an education for young people with ever more complex needs, including PMLD, SLD, ASD, mental health and emotional issues (previously SEBD) and many others. Most teachers are used to having statemented pupils in their inclusive classroom e.g. young people on the autistic spectrum. However, children unable to cope in the mainstream will attend a special school. (Note: existing statements will remain in place until they are all gradually transferred to the Education, Health and Care Plan with which they are being replaced over the next few years).Although we are a dedicated special needs teaching agency and welcome candidates with previous special educational needs experience or qualifications, we also acknowledge that a huge part of working successfully within the special needs sector is related to the “right fit” personality wise. If you are a qualified teacher with an interest in working with special needs but no formal experience or SEND qualification, please call the office and speak to a consultant who will be happy to offer you advice on this matter. We offer training and support across wide-ranging specialist areas and would love to work with you in this most rewarding of careers.
